Can you love the sinner and the saint,

And serve them ever without complaint?

Can you find the value of each man?

Can you treat him with kindness and cheer?

Jesus our Savior loved each person

and served all with kindness and cheer.

Would you sacrifice your pride and will

To know the Father, your heart to fill?

Would you seek to know the doctrine pure

And then teach the unwilling the truth?

Humbly, our Lord petitioned Father

and taught the unwilling the truth.

Could you give your life to save a soul,

To die for sin and to pay the toll?

Could you suffer all to lift a friend

As you light the way on to the end?

Christ the Messiah died to save us

and showed us the way to the end.
