1. I believe God loveth me, 

I believe He cares for me, 

I believe He made this world 

where I might come to dwell.  

I believe that Jesus came, 

descended from above,            

I believe He came to earth 

to show me how to live.

2. I believe in Bethlehem

in a manger dark and damp,

I believe the Son of God

was born as mortal man

Mary was His mother fair,

His Father was our God,

I believe He led the way

back to our Heav'nly home.

3. I know in Gethsemane

Jesus suffered, trembled, bled,

I believe He paid the price,

He paid the price of sin.

I believe He suffered long,

was wounded, wept for me,

I believe from ev'ry pour

He took away my sins.

4. I believe God loveth me,

I believe He cares for me,

I believe He died for me,

He died on Calvary.

I believe that Jesus rose,

He broke the bands of death, 

I believe He gave His life,

He died that I might live.
