An original hymn with text by Mark Fotheringham below.  Watch on YouTube: Resurrection

Ezekiel saw the bones of men rise up to praise the Lord,

Restored to breath and living after dying by the sword,

Thus showing that all men return unto their perfect frame.

Both saints and sinners rise from death, to praise His Holy Name.

The sting of death is swallowed up, the fear of death is gone.

To those who know our gracious Lord, the fight with death is won.

The Savior soon will come again to raise the saints on high.

The earth shall cast out all her dead, when Judgment Day is nigh.

For Christ the Lord was first to rise. He broke the bands of death.

Through resurrection's miracle, restoring all to breath.

The gift is freely giv'n to all. Sufficient is His grace

To bring us all before our Lord to look upon His face.
