See text below.

1. All things renew within their time,
And come into their own.
The smallest seeds become sublime,
When they are fully grown.

The larvae that in cocoons sleep,
Then prism-winged emerge.
Though for a while they slumber deep,
They break on through the verge.

2. All seasons come within their hour,
The glories of the day,
Emerge to rule with brilliant pow’r,
In ev’ning fade away.

The splendors of the night bring rest,
Foreshadow the time when,
The brilliant star set in the west,
With joy shall rise again.

3. All creatures find their way back home,
Though they have strayed afar.
No matter where they fly to roam,
Birds know from whence they are.

They cross the leagues o’er sea and land,
Returning to their nest.
For somehow they all understand,
That there they will find rest.

4. On resurrection’s holy morn,
All sleepers find new breath.
And ev’ry soul is then reborn
Who lay asleep in death.

Each wand‘ring soul returns at last
From their life’s journey, long
Their night of slumber now has passed,
Replaced by endless song.
