See text below.

1. Anguish and pain, on the Cross and in the Garden,

Jesus suffered for our stains, for our sins and for our pains.

All alone He faced His doom, then His body was entombed,

There awaiting to rise up that glorious morning.

For Sunday would  come again.

2. Dark clouds arise while the earth may shake and tremble.

When the storm is raging one, you may feel all hope is gone.

Oh recall our suff'ring Lord, who was faithful to His Word

Resurrecting to glory and joy o'er flowing.

For Sunday will  come again.

3. When you have sinned and you're feeling so unworthy,

when your prayers seem earthly bound and the Spirit can't be found,

Still the Savior's love is there. His atonement shows His care.

Your repentance is all that  He needs to heel you.

For Sunday will come again.

4. Grief fills the heart when beloved lives are over.

When the soul seems rent in twain, and you bear the awful pain,

Know that Christ has burst the bands, And He holds life in His  hands.

Freely giving the gift unto all God's children

Yes, Sunday will come again.
