Press on, the way ahead is clear.
Still press on when obstacles appear.
Stay upon the strait and narrow path
'Til you find the tree of life at last.
Though through mists of darkness you may go,
The way to joy you still can know.
Holding fast and constant to the iron rod,
You will surely know the love of God.
Press on, enduring through your trials,
Though your path may wander yet awhile.
When it seems you travel here alone,
One true Friend can hear your every groan.
He will lift you should you seek HIs aid.
The price for sin and grief He paid.
For the love He holds for you is ever near,
So press on, in gratitude and cheer.
Press forward feasting on the Word.
In your heart, the Spirit may be heard,
Testifying Jesus is the Lord,
That He Lives, and blessings are assured.
He will comfort you in grief or pain,
Then help you find your way again.
Soon the darkness fades away before the dawn,
Shining forth in beauty, so press on.
