May my children walk in truth,

Wherever they may go.

May they set a course in youth

That never brings them woe.

May God’s words dwell in their hearts,

And ever there abide.

May they choose the better part

In all that they decide.

May my children serve with love,

In all their words and deeds.

May they mirror the light above,

While helping those in need.

May they always face their trials

With courage, not despair.

May they learn a ready smile,

Can ease a load of care.

May my children fight for right

Whenever there’s a cause.

May they not let evil’s might,

Prevail o’er heaven’s laws.

May faith’s bright flame never dim

Within my children’s breasts.

May they press on ‘til they win

Salvation and God’s rest.
