1. Come join the ranks of Zion's grand army,

come join the ranks against sin.

Come and prepare for the glorious day

when Jesus shall come again.

Righteous servants must prepare the way

for that bright milllennial day.

Go forth with pow'r clothed with armor celestial,

preaching the word of God.

2. Go two by two armed with knowledge of scripture

teaching the ways of the Lord.

Go prune the vineyard with exultation

harvesting fruit evermore.

Sound the gospel with the truth unfurled,

bring salvation to all the world.

Go forth proclaiming the gospel in fulness

sharing the truths of God.

3. Unhallowed hands ne'er shall hinder

the progress of this great latter day work.

Mobs may combine, persecutions may follow,

yet the grand truths shall roll forth.

Boldly, faithfully we'll carry on bearing truths

e'er the night shall dawn.

Go forth and visit the ends of the nations,

blessing with truths restored.

4. This blessed gospel shall cover the nations,

sounding in every ear.

Glorious tidings delivered with boldness

saving the souls of man.

As the stone that without hands was formed,

growing wide, 'til all lands are warned.

All knees shall bow, every tongue shall bear witness

Christ is the Son of God.
