An original children's song about our ancestors, family history, and temples.  Text by Mary Ann Snowball.

YouTube video: Ancestors

See text below:

I have some ancestors, just like you--

Grandpas and grandmas, and cousins too.

Some lived in countries so far away,

And I will meet them one special day.

You have some ancestors, just like me--

Children and uncles and aunts to see.

Someday you’ll greet them with grateful voice,

And then in a coming day rejoice.

Ancestors, ancestors want to be

Joined as a part of our families.

Temples will always provide the way

To be together some future day.

I love my ancestors, just like you.

Let us be watchful and always true

So we can enter God’s holy place,

Then meet our ancestors face to face.
