An original hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann Snowball below.

YouTube video: Repentance

Where is my soul?  Where is my heart?  Where is my pure intent?

Where is my payment back to him For blood which Jesus spent?

Where is my covered hiding place No mortal eye can see,

When I confuse the natural man With truths so taught to me?

Pavilions sought for rest emerge, Because his love appears.

I know He has om-nis-cient sight And wants me to be near.

But when my soul is lost and lone, Will I refuse to stall?

Can I look up, remembering, The ransom for the Fall?

This cost demands my giving all—Submission, willingly.

The gift that only He bestows Becomes my aching plea.

To be forgiven through his power Is what my heart desires.

Oh, change me to a creature new By lending sacred fire.

Christ promised his atoning blood; His pores would purely bleed.

I know He loves me to the end; He is my Guide, my Lead.

He suffered all; His body tore Because of my dear soul.

My sins can be forgiven when I pay the price in whole.

I will rely on Jesus Christ; He is the only Way.

He spent his life because of love; I’m in his heart to stay.

I will remember how He died; He gave all He could give

So my repentance will be sure; He died so I can live!
