I’ll call the Sabbath a delight,

A source of wisdom, power, light;

Kept unspotted from the world,

From fiery darts that Satan hurls.

I’ll keep my feet from my own ways,

And call it the holiest of days,

Then honor give to God above,

Who sheds forth His wondrous love.

With Jacob’s heritage I’ll be fed,

And in the way of truth be led,

Walk with thee in paths of right

By calling the Sabbath a delight.
