He lives to save because He suffered in Gethsemane.
He lives to carry my sore pain And overcome my grief.
When I am seized by Satan’s grasp, He lives to give relief.

He lives! My Savior rescued me. He groaned in agony.
His blood He spilled for all my sins; He bled to set me free.
He cried with throbs when no one saw; His flesh was torn apart.
My Savior lives so I can feel His love within my heart.

He lives; He lives! My Savior lives! His zeal can never fail.
He offered all his will to God Through pain from piercing nails.
He lives for me; my Savior lives! I know because I feel
Pure testimony burning bright; I know to Him I’m sealed.

My Savior lives to save my soul. He lives so I shall be
His heir through all eternity; He paid the price for me.
My tears are wet; My hands are clasped, And I am on my knees
To worship with my head bowed low; I know He lives for me!
