Joyful the day when I come back to thee,

Released from my calling in mortality.

Death of a loved one could break any soul

Without resurrection to soften the blow.

Because of Atonement I know I will see

My loved ones in heaven, from all pain set free.

Praise to the Lord who has done this great thing:

The grave hath no vict'ry and death hath no sting.

Essence of dust, we return to the earth,

But spirit continues regardless of worth.

Judged by our Lord we will praise Him for grace,

To be resurrected, an immortal race.
