Whenever trouble comes my way,
When grey skies or thunder darken my day,
'Tis faith in my Savior that keeps hope alive.
Knowing my Savior, I will survive.

If I should stumble on life's path,
If pride or my sin should lead me to wrath,
My Savior will urge me to turn and do right.
Knowing my Savior, I'll see the light.

When I rejoice in all that's good,
And when I am doing all that I should,
I feel He is smiling, and as my heart sings,
Knowing my Savior, more joy He brings.

Often I ponder on God's plan
To save all His children, by this One Man.
With voice, oh so gentle, as soft as a poem,
Knowing my Savior, He'll lead me home.
