YouTube video: He Is Our Light, a sacred hymn

Text:
When we walk in darkness, we may lose our way.
We may not see clearly . . . blinded or betrayed.
His pure light becomes our plea when we pray on bended knees.
Christ’s sure light can show the way; it’s our guarantee.

When we are engulfed with fearful, anxious thoughts,
We may not think clearly or may feel distraught.
Christ’s sure light can calm each soul as He helps to make one
whole,
His true light within our minds helps us be consoled.

When the world is threatened by opposing foes,
We may not remember all that heaven knows.
Jesus Christ, our surest Light, shines within the darkest night.
His pure love surrounds each soul, saving with His might.

Chorus:
He is our Light, our Savior Jesus Christ . . .
Our light in darkness, our Guide through life.
