When your joy is overflowing,

When the world is on your side,

When your blessings are abundant,

When your skies are blue on high,

Oh, remember to be grateful

For all favors large and small.

Send your praise and adoration to

Our God, who gave us all.

When your troubles are unnumbered,

When your luck has all run dry,

When your sadness seems unending,

When you've lost the will to try,

Oh, remember then your Savior,

How he suffered on the tree.

Send a prayer to plead for comfort from

Our Lord, who sets us free.

For this life is full of contrast,

Every man knows good and bad.

But the Lord is ever with us ,

Knowing every pain we've had.

He rejoices in our triumphs,

Then He strengthens us in trial,

'Til the day we stand before Him there

And see His loving smile.
