Riding on a donkey like David the King,
Jesus entered Jerusalem while people there did sing,
They laid cloaks before Him, this Man with no sin,
Like a conq'ring warrior, all souls to win.

Waving palm branches in grand shouts of praise.

But with mournful face, to the crowd He rode through,
