There is a place we all yearn for,

No matter where our paths may roam,

That spot on earth like no other,

That special place that we call home.

It symbolizes hope and comfort,

Be it humble, small, or grand,

The center of our heartfelt longings;

It seems the best in all the land.

Now let that longing extend upward

To our Father’s Heavenly home,

Where we came from before our birth,

And may return to, though far we roam.

An inner yearning fills our bosoms,

To find that peaceful, holy place,

Where parental arms will encircle
