David knew God’s rock would slay at the proper hour.
Jared’s brother knew his stones would receive pure light,
All because each showed great faith in God’s perfect sight.

We can also show pure trust in the God who sees.
He who succors as we need listens willingly.
He can part our seas of doubt; He can slay our foes.
He can ever guide our way when this God we know.
