A beautiful, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball. This hymn beautifully recounts the miracle of Jesus feeding the multitude, drawing a powerful parallel between that sacred event and the blessings He offers in our own lives. With poetic reverence, it illustrates how Jesus, after teaching and tending to the hungry crowd, multiplied a meager offering—five loaves and two fishes—into abundance. The verses remind us that Christ first asks for our willingness to give, however small our gifts may be. In return, through His divine power and mercy, He transforms our limited resources and talents into overflowing blessings. The choruses echo His loving promise to provide not only what we need, but more than enough to bless others.

Text:
Jesus had taught multitudes all day long;
People were hungry amidst this great throng.
He told disciples to give them to eat.
But each one doubted amounts for this feat.

"How many loaves have ye? Go now and see,"
Jesus inquired in faith lovingly.
Only five loaves and two fishes so small
Made up the menu for feeding them all.

After He blessed each small offering there
Twelve extra baskets resulted from prayer.
Jesus can bless our own lives just the same;
He can add bounty through God's sacred Name.

First He will ask what we'll willingly share,
Then He'll assess ev'ry talent we bear.
If we lack knowledge, but trust in His pow'r,
He'll provide excess in each sacred hour.

Chorus 1:
"How many loaves have ye? Go now and now and see.
I will provide for thy lack eternally.

Chorus 2:
As ye bring all scanty loaves unto my care,
I will provide all you need and more to share.
