Jesus is called Wonderful, so Isaiah said,

While prophesying of His life, speaking from the dead.

He must have seen the miracles, our Savior’s loving hand.

He must have heard His gracious Word while teaching through the land.

Jesus Christ, our Counselor, help us know the right.

Thy Word be law to all who seek knowledge, truth and light.

We'll ponder on Thy parables and emulate Thy life.

Thy goodness is our guiding star to ending earthly strife.

Jesus Christ, the Mighty God. Death and hell are slain.

Through Thy atoning sacrifice, love and life remain.

Thy power is in mercy found, and justice fully paid

Restores to all repentant souls a life lived unafraid.

Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, gather us to Thee.

With evil overcome by love, war shall cease to be.

Until you come to take Thy crown in glory through the sky,
