1. Blessed is my soul as I wait upon the Lord

for the Lord God will renew my strength, on wings of eagles shall I soar,

I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not be faint. 

Who can comprehend God's wisdom, eternal are His ways.

My heart will not be troubled neither will it be afraid,

For I seek to be like Jesus, As I seek eternal grace,

For I seek my Savior's mercy,  As I seek my Savior's face.

2. Christ is the way, the truth, He is my light: 

for His goodness never faileth, His loving hand is ever near. 

His righteous ways shall heal me when I call on His name. 

He will bring me to His my kingdom where every thing is pure. 

My Lord, my God shall lead me 'til at last I shall return to thy home,  

Oh precious Savior,  ever more to dwell with Thee, 

At home with my dear Father for all eternity.
