Know thy Shepherd; He will lead to still waters with each need.
In green pastures He’ll restore; not a lamb will be ignored.
Know thy Shepherd when afraid; His strong staff will offer aid.
His own rod will comfort give; that is why this Shepherd lives.

Ye shall not want, nor evil fear for ev’ry lamb is known.
Leading with true righteousness, none are left alone.

Know thy Shepherd; He brings peace with anointing oil’s release.
On each head and weary heart, He confers the healer’s art.
Know thy Shepherd unto death ‘til dark shadows end all breath.
Then as each cup runneth o’er, love will lead to Christ’s new door.

I shall not want, nor evil fear; my Shepherd will appear!
Dwelling in my home above is my Shepherd dear.
