Jesus gathered with apostles
In an upper room to dine.
Knowing His fate, he warned and taught,
Preparing them to lead one final time.
Let us sing, "Amen."

Broken bread, a cup of wine,
Shared in remembrance of The Son.
He washed their feet and gave commandment:
They should love and serve as He had done.
Let us sing, "Amen."

Sadly spoke He of betrayal,
Knowing one would leave His fold.
He spoke of sacrifice and suff'ring,
Offering His life as He foretold.
Let us sing, "Amen."

We, like sheep, have gone astray, but
He'll turn sorrows into joy.
As He defeated sin and death,
Our fears all flee as we our faith employ.
