In sorrow and grief I bow at Thy throne,
My heart is so burdened, so heavy my cross.
My trials and cares seem too much to bear,
How can I endure when I'm faced with such loss?

My heart is despondent, tears fill my eyes.
Oh, where is Thy balm? Oh, where is Thy peace?
Where art Thou, O God? I can't do this alone.
Dear Savior, stretch forth Thy hand, let my pain cease.

Bruised, wounded was I, rejected of men,
I've carried thy sorrows, thy griefs I do bear.
I trembled in pain, I bled from each pore,
I pled with the Father, in deepest despair.

My child let My peace now sweep o'er thy soul,
I'll dry all thy tears, My love shall abide.
I'll always be near you, You're never alone.
Dear child, I'll stand with you, be e'er by thy side.
