1. Lord, we come before thee now in fasting

We implore - loose now the bonds of wickedness, as thou hast said. 

Undo the heavy load, let the oppressed go free

Oh, break off every yoke, deal bread to those in need.

We'll feed the cast off poor, the naked we shall clothe,

Oh, Lord, hide not Thy face from us, we pray, hide not, we pray.

2. Lord, then shall our light break forth as bright as morning sun, 

our health shall spring forth as a spring of water pure, 

Our righteousness shall go before thee speedily,

the glory of the Lord shall feed our souls today.

Then we shall call to Thee and Thou shalt answer clear,

Oh, Lord, then thou shalt guide us back to thee, guide us to Thee.

3. Lord, guide us continually, and sanctify our souls,

restore the paths, restore our broken souls, we pray. 

Make our souls satisfied, as we keep covenants,

We shall delight ourselves in Thee, oh Savior dear.

In fasting we implore, grant our petition sure,

Oh, Lord, reward us richly with Thy grace, reward us Lord
