I gather with the Saints this holy day

In remembrance of Thy holy name,

And pray my heart will know Thy will,

In word and action reflect the same.

I love to read Thy holy word,

And thy holy name revere,

May my prayers ascend to Thee

And feel Thy holy spirit near.

May no thoughts of superiority rise

As for sacred things I set myself apart,

Shunning worldliness and passions strong,

Striving for holiness of heart.

May I walk the gospel path

To Thy house, a holy place,

And keep the covenants made therein,

Be sanctified by Thy holy grace.
