Friday of this Holy Week was the hardest day.
Mockers were unkind to Him in so many ways.
He was nailed upon the cross; Jesus felt great pain
All because of perfect love, all for my own gain.

Though He wore a crown of thorns and He felt my sins,
On this darkest day of all, He knew how to win.
Praying to his Father there, all because of love,
He would never, ever doubt Father’s love above.

I can pray like Jesus did when I feel alone.
