The Spirit speaks to the mind,
With discerning truths so clear,
Beyond man’s queries or reason,
All fearful doubts soon disappear.

The Spirt speaks to the heart,
With feelings of peace and calm,
Then anchored deep within the soul,
Comfort comes like a healing balm.

Study things out in the mind,
With faith and trust in the warmth of the heart,
The Holy Ghost bestows revelation,
A gift from God which He doth impart.

The Spirit comes to mind and heart,
With a still small voice doth He speak,
That we might know of truth eternal;
Revelation comes to those who seek.
