The righteous cry and the Lord is there;
His ears stand wide to hear.
I sought his face and He heard my cry,
Deliv'ring me from fear.

O, taste and see that the Lord is good:
He blesses all who love.
His angels camp around all those
Who trust in Him above.

O, keep thy tongue from all evil ways,
Thy lips, keep guile unsaid.
Do good and seek God's pure peace instead,
So thou won't be misled.

O, stray from evil and ere do good;
Seek peace and righteousness,
The Lord redeemeth his servants' souls
