1. Kneeling in darkness, searching for answers, pondering questions, and looking for light.

Seek for the Spirit. He will reveal to you, leading you onto the path of the right.

There in the silence, softly He whispers, reaching inside to inspire the heart,

He will uncover wisdom and mercy, silently speaking, all truth to impart.

2. In pain or anguish, suffering sorrow, longing for comfort, in search of relief.

Jesus, our Savior, sent forth a Comforter, giving you strength to endure every grief.

Staying beside you, He'll never leave you, even when all men far from you have flown.

Whispering softly, "Christ knows your suff'ring," helping you know you are never alone.

3. Living the gospel, praying for guidance, searching the scriptures, preparing to teach.

Ask for the Spirit. He'll testify to all, truth ever piercing each heart as you preach.

One with The Father, one with our Savior, true revelation cannot be denied.

Seek for the Spirit. Each day He'll point you back to our Father, with Him to reside.
