With the passing of another year,

Glancing back, I see a blessing clear.

With Thy aid, I navigated through the darkness

To the light of everlasting love.

I have felt the Spirit nudge me on

'Til the shadow passing by was gone,

And my heart, in service to another,

Found a way to reach for Thee above.

With the passing of another year,

Looking on, I see a pathway clear.

Narrow ways will lead me back to home and heaven,

While each day my heart is filled with cheer.

Should I stray or lose my way in sin,

There is One who'll lead me back again.

Lord above, please grant me greater wisdom

On the earth with every passing year.
