1. The holy star of Bethlehem
Still shines for us today
For as its steadfast light revealed
The place where Jesus lay.

The Father shines His sacred light
On those who seek His Son.
So we may see his smiling face
And praise the Holy One.

2. The light of revelation shines
On those who will receive
The prophets will illuminate
The way, if we believe.

The scriptures make our lives aglow
With lovely words divine.
The Spirit whispers guiding thoughts
Like sparks that brightly shine.

3. The invitation of that star,
Is ours to leave or take.
Though we must travel from afar
The choice is ours to make.
