Watch on YouTube: Behold, the King Appears
To Nephi came the wondrous news as he humbly knelt and
prayed,
“Behold, the night is nigh at Hand, the hour no longer stayed;
Lift up your head with joyful eyes, sing out with gladsome notes of cheer,
For Christ, the Lord, to earth will come; the signs are drawing near.”
“No darkness will there be at all, though golden sun is set;
The light will shine all through the night upon believers met,
While those who scoff in bitter scorn will weep and wail, and cry and mourn;
In Judah’s land so far away, God’s Only Son is born.”
To Samuel, the Lamanite, He did reveal the time.
And now in flesh He will come down; the star begins to shine.
Behold the night has come at last, lift up your head with joy and cheer,
And bow the knee in reverence for the King doth now appear!
