The angels’ words banish all fear,
“He is risen; He is not here.”
The tomb is empty; all doubt departs,
Bringing comfort to every heart.

Another place, far from here,
Comes a voice, “Do not fear,”
Then descending from the heavens above,
The risen Lord showed forth His love.

To the Nephites He appeared,
Announcing with a voice so clear,
“I am Jesus, and before you stand,
That you might see my wounded hands.”

“Know that death now holds no fear,
For I have risen, I am here.
This same gift will come to all.
At the resurrection’s call.”
