This day the Lord is felt by my side.
His love and presence turn ev'ry tide.
With Him beside me, I know no fear.
His is a comfort dear.
So when I feel empty or far away,
I will remember this perfect day.

This day I know the gospel is true.
My testimony blossoms anew.
Words from the scriptures lighten my mind;
Truth joyously aligned.
So when I'm uncertain, when questions prey,

This day I've found The House of The Lord,
Hearing man's purpose from holy words.
