I am the Salt,

The embodiment of the covenant,

The Great Preserver

Of God's words.

I bring life to the living

Through my enabling power;

I bring life to the dead

Through the resurrection;

I bring eternal life to the faithful

Through sharing my inheritance of glory.

I am the Salt,

Never to lose my savor.

I season man to enhance,

Bringing out the best.

I scrub away roughness

making all things smooth.

Combined with Living Water

I soothe and restore health.

In great proportions

I buoy man up.

Those who cast me out

Will be trodden upon,

Henceforth good for nothing.

I am the Salt,

The Savor of the world.
