We will kneel today in humble prayer,

That we may see the light

Which shines within the hearts of men.

Oh share with us Thy sight.

Oh help us, Lord, to see Thy love

Reflected in each face.

Please help us love as Thou hast loved,

That we may know Thy grace.

May we bless each stranger, bless each friend

Whom we should chance to greet,

That we with joy in heaven's court

May one day gladly meet.

Oh help us, Lord, to understand

How best we can embrace

The work Thou hast for us to do,

That we may know Thy grace.

When that day of glory comes to pass,

When Jesus comes again,

When men are judged for all their works

And who they are within,

Oh may we find a mansion there

Prepared for us, a place

Where we may still commune with Thee
