Seek the Lord in meekness; learn his gracious art.
Knowing of his mercy opens ev'ry thirsting, yearning heart.
Seek his presence daily through calm, submissive prayer.
Then have access to his heaven, God's constant, steady care.

Seek the Lord in meekness; know God's true intent.
Glory comes from being yoked in ev'ry earnest trial met.
Listen for his counsel; and hear his words that bind.
Be endowed with heav'nly power by access to his mind.

Seek the Lord in meekness. Pure humility gives
a legacy of love and brings Godly charity.
Grant forgiveness daily, thus making others whole.
Offer unity and know God repairs the human soul.

Blessed are the meek ones, God's eternal heirs,
