The light of Christ fills all of the earth,
It's given to all souls at their birth,
It fills all nature, thus making it thrive,
and urges all men with ambition and drive.

It fills the immensity of space,
Enlightens ev'ry time and ev'ry place,
And through the Lord's infinity,
It fills every kingdom eternally.

Into darkest corners the Light e'er will go,
It's power freeing souls from pain and woe,
Unceasingly guided t'ward truth divine;
Until with perfection creation doth shine.

Oh, may this great Light increase within me,
Infused with Thy Spirit may I be.
Increasing in knowledge 'til a fulness I earn,
And into Thy Presence with glory return.
