Into the garden on butterfly wing,
Trumpeting daffodils stand up to sing,
The birth of each flower such beauty will bring,
As earth is returning to life in the spring.

Once barren branches now burst into flow'r.
Grasses are greening with each daylight hour.
As seedlings break free from their wintery doom,
I think of our Savior escaped from the tomb.

He who created the world, gave us spring.
Patterns in nature new hope and joy bring.
So even though winter and death come to all,
We'll bloom like a flower at dear Jesus' call.

His resurrection returns all to life,
Into a garden devoid of all strife,
To bloom and to blossom as flowers in spring
And rise up in glory on butterfly wing.
