Hymn Text:
Longing for Jesus to come back again,
Returning to earth to cleanse it from sin,
To greet all the people who honor His name
And weed out the wicked with heavenly flame.
We'll sing Allelujah, proclaiming His fame!

One thousand years He shall reign as our King.
All nations shall bow, for peace He will bring.
All war and contention shall flee from the land,
While children are taught to know truth by His hand.
We'll sing Allelujah! United we'll stand.

He'll also reign over souls of the dead.
Redeeming them all from darkness and dread.
In temples of God, all their names shall be heard,
And freed from their chains, ev'ry soul will be stirred
To sing Allelujah and rise at His Word.

Should His return linger farther away,
If we must bear strife, 'til some latter day.
Oh, strengthen our souls to remain in Thy Way,
And guard us from evil so we'll never stray.
We sing Allelujah! With Thee we shall stay.
