Text:
Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard
God’s promise when men learn his word?
Because his strength is never spent,
God shares his pow’r for man’s ascent.

God giveth power to the faint
And blesses each without restraint.
To those who weary, they shall run,
And feel the flight (of light) of God’s pure Son.

O, when man feels like he will fall,
Each shall be like an eagle’s call . . .
To soar above each dismal doubt
Because God lives above the clouds.

Chorus:
With wings as eagles, they shall mount;
With wings as eagles each surmounts.
To they that wait upon the Lord,
Renewed pure strength is their reward.
