as we fondly remember Thy glorious Son. 

His precious blood freely given to redeem us, 

to cleanse us; to heal us by Thy tender care.

2. This blessed hour our hearts overflow

as we ponder the gift of Thy Holy Son.

His sacred blood flowed so freely to ransom,

to carry our souls far from death and from hell.

3. This sacred hour we bow and give thanks,

for Thy kindness and mercy extends to all.

We have been purchased by our precious Savior,

He saved us from ruin, atoned for our stains.
