Christ has risen from the tomb, breaking bands of death,

Giving life forevermore for all who draw mortal breath.

Resurrection is His gift for every soul to bless.

Every knee will bow to Christ and every tongue confess.

Gather out the righteous from each part of the earth,

Teaching them in light and truth, of the Blessed Savior's worth.

Teach them of atoning pow'r, their broken hearts to heal.

Every tongue will Christ confess and every soul will kneel.

After Jesus comes again on the earth to reign,

Will His majesty be plain? Will we understand His pain?

All that He has done for us, our God will surely show.
