1. A living stream of water flows,
From where God sets His feet,
Each place it runs, the desert grows
And bitter seas turn sweet.

The temple is a living well
From which this water springs.
Though first it trickles, soon it swells,
Revealing holy things.

2. A living river quenches thirst,
And all who drink shall live,
For those who seek God’s blessings first
Will find He freely gives.

The temple is a living well,
This holy river’s source.
Its length and depth will rise and swell,
Each time we seek its course.

3. A living flood bursts from the heights
And sweeps through ev’ry land.
Its healing pow'r renews, delights
All those who in it stand.

The temple is a living well
Of infinite supply.
Its waters shall forever swell,
And never will run dry.
