1.O God, give ear to my prayer and hide not thyself from me.
Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn.
The voice of my enemy oppresses me
My heart is sore pained for iniquity 
the terrors of death are upon me
but I  will  trust in thee.

2.O God, sweet council give
accompany me I pray
for I call upon thee to save me,
oh Lord. Morning, noon, and at eventide I cry to thee,
Deliver my soul and give peace to me,
grief  mischief and sorrow befall me
but I will trust in thee.

3.O Lord, put forth thy hand
depart not thyself from me.
Thy words shall comfort and soothe me,
My God. I shall cast all my burdens Lord upon thee,
and thou wilt sustain and  pardon me
I will walk in thy cov'nant be side thee,
ever I will trust in thee.
