As I kneel before Thee, Lord, hear my humble prayer.

Open wide my yearning heart to know that Thou art there.

Help me hear and understand, seek Thy will to know.

Let me be an instrument. Draw me as a bow.

As I serve Thy children, Lord, let Thy blessing flow.

Give me joy in service, Lord, small though it may be.

In these little acts of love, let all Thy people see;

See Thy love for all mankind mirrored in my soul.

Let me be an instrument. Write me as a scroll.

In Thy plan of happiness, let me play a role.

Help me to be humble, Lord. Help me know my place.

Doing all that I must do to one day see Thy face.

Following Thy Spirit's voice, judging right from wrong,
