Like my Savior in his Garden when approaching God in prayer,
I can plant Christ’s seed within me and rely on Father’s care.
When I cease to trust his timing as a buried bulb not seen,
I can wait for transformation as atoning gifts to glean.

Like my Savior in his Garden as He knelt to bear all pain,
I can be his willing witness as I suffer for his Name.
When the winds of tribulation seem to nourish ev’ry storm,
I can weather through with patience ‘til I feel his loving arms.

Like my Savior in his Garden as pure tears dropped to the ground,
I can trust his weeping presence ere new life in Him is found.
When the plagues of opposition seem to cover recent growth,
