Can I trust in God’s patience though I cannot see
doors He may open . . . open for me?
Can I trust in His promise my faith will grow strong,
hoping He’ll guide me . . . guide me along?
Can I trust in God’s wisdom and all-knowing truth
when severe trials come to my view?
Can I trust in His teachings to answer each doubt
‘til I am strengthened and more devout?

When questions arise with knowledge unclear, (a new word here)
I'll watch and keep waiting for I know God's near.
I know of His power, recalling great love,
So I'll trust the love from my Father above.

Do I trust God’s forgiveness when I lose my way?
Will He still hear me . . . hear when I pray?
Do I trust in Christ’s power to free me from sin
though I can’t sense His spirit within?
Do I trust in God’s mercy, His care for my soul,
‘til my heart heals and I am made whole?
Do I trust in my Maker whose love never ends?
